Bold, rich and/or bright tones, black, browns and denim are nice for FAMILIES. Wear complimenting colors that work well together, but are not the same.  Pick three or four colors to work with.  For example a variety of browns, cream tones and teal (or cranberry or blue...).  A mixture of black, gray and white clothing is the best for black and white images.  Avoid having everyone in the same color, especially white.

KIDS - Have fun with kid's outfits!  I love the look of layers.  And accessories are a must!  Cute hats, bows, jewelry and even shoes can add a lot to the picture.

NEWBORNS are often photographed in their birthday suit,  a onsie, or just a diaper (I have cute bloomers!). Bring a white onsie for the baby.  Hands and feet will be photographed so have the baby's nails trimmed.  Also, parents, have your hands/nails ready to be photographed... they will be in the pictures.  Mom's and dad's - please wear or bring a black t-shirt and dont forget wedding rings.  Bring anything you want photographed with your baby...special blanket, stuffed animal, sports gear, outfit...  I do have lots of headbands, bows, hats, fun ties, bloomers, tutu's, petty skirts etc you can use if you would like.
